Never seen this before, it is like a thin layer of pink algae that is slowly starting to cover the sand and part of a rock in the center of my tank.
Is best removal to disturb and syphon?
What could be causing it, overfeeding? overstocking or too many nutrients?
Tank is 60(l) x 40(w) x 45(h) and has 2x 24w t5 ho tubes, external ef 1000 filter, co2 at 2 bps set at 40ppm, ferts are tnc complete 3 x 7ml a week, 50% water change weekly.
Livestock is 8 neon tetra, 2 dwarf gourami, 1 bolivian ram, 5 zebra danio, 6 oto, 4 amano shrimp.
