ORP and pH in the planted aquarium

Hey there folks,

I've got a favor to ask. If anyone here has both an ORP and pH probe would you be willing to set them both up and take regular readings for a couple weeks to a month? I'm curious to see if there's a real-world correlation between CO2 enrichment and ORP.

I could answer it in detail too. 😉 I just don't have the hardware and number of tanks to get a nice broad data set to play with. After some discussions with fellow hobbyists in the US about organic compounds in tanks and speculation about the Twinstar device I've been wondering about ORP in our tanks in general. What's the daily cycle? How might ORP relate to presence/absence of algae, type of algae present, and overall tank health?
