Om Shanti - bonsai

So my favorite LFS (www.ecoarium.pt) found me a unique old bonsai tree...
Looking at that, i realized that this beautiful piece could be almost 80% of a new aquascape with the right rocks and plants! 🙂
Hands on work and here i introduce my recent aquascape "Om Shanti".

Tank: 45cm*45cm*35cm height
Pressurized co2
Plants:
hemianthus callitrichoides
eleocharis acicularis
eleocharis parvula
marsilea hirsuta
singapore moss
java moss
fissidens fontanus

The tanks was setup on 2015-04-12 and had 2 weeks of dry start.
Last Sunday (2015-04-26) was flooded.
some macros of that day

Yesterday 2015-05-03 - 7 days after flooded, things couldn't be better, all growing very fast and algae kept at bay with a few normal diatoms on the rocks

I'm not sure what the bark on that tree will do to your water quality.

In this past 10 days all good. All values ok. Lets see in long term

Looks great, I done one like this from a dead Chinese Elm bonsai a few years back, bark did rot and caused problems, if it was dryed when you got it I'd strip the bark mate.

23 days...after some diatoms and hair algae, things are going ok now.
New Light fixture from ecoarium.pt the Zetlight ZP2500H, amazing piece of equipment.
Just a photo for now... a view from my desktop where i do some post work.
