Keep the crown just below the surface of the substrate, only a matter of millimeters.

They like plenty of root food. Root tabs with N an P in work really well. Also in soil based substrates, or very old, mulm rich substrates work very well for this plant too.

Prune to keep it bushy with submersed leaves, leave it well alone for surface leaves.
