greetings peeps,
On the tank Im setting up Ive got a TMC1550 co2 reactor, with the turbo thingy to squish the gas bubbles . When I first got it the flow through was terrible, but after Iremoved all the moulding flash it was very good, however the turbo jobby is a noisy little mother. I removed it and fitted a piece of coarse filter sponge into the barrel to ''trap'' the bubbles, do you think this will be ok . Havent tried it with co2 yet as the tasnk is cycling, any thoughts?

I must admit that I've been looking at this as my only easily available external reactor, but I had feared that it would be noisy. Can it be modified to become a version of a Barr/Grigg reactor?

Peter
