Nodules

Ok, so noticed during last nights rescape.
That there are tiny sesame seed shaped nodules covering parts of the inlet strainer grill.
Anyone know what they could be and are they good/bad.
I was maybe thinking they are seed shrimp but not sure. Ok scratch that these dont move about, so not them.

I had something similar once in filter pads. It was dead leaves from tiny floating plants.
The leaves had turned white and were exactly the size and colour of sesame seeds.
Might it be those?

I don't have any floaters in there at the moment, so not those. These are attached to the inlet strainer

I should hope not, floaters are extremely detrimental to aquarium ecosystems. Keep an eye on the little one I suspect he may be prone to experimentation.😉
