Hey everyone! 👋

I recently started a new YouTube channel where I’ll be sharing short 2–3 minute videos on general aquarium knowledge — things like fish care, tank setup, and beginner tips.

I’ve uploaded a few videos so far and would really appreciate your support, feedback, and suggestions. My goal is to share helpful, accurate information and improve with every video.

If you have any ideas, corrections, or just general advice — I’m all ears! 🐟
Thanks in advance for checking it out 🙏

Good on you for trying to break into this area, and good luck in your venture.

Just a few comments from me.
  1. Bettas - they can indeed breathe air from the surface, and like gentle flow, but the comment of 'no-filter no-problem' is, well, a problem! Betta needs a healthy environment like any other fish - and plants and /or filters really should be used to achieve this. You have to think about pathogens as well as oxygen.
  2. Indestructible fish - Probably need to be a little careful here, as the message I hear is that they are bulletproof.
  3. Nitrogen Cycle - indeed you want this to be complete, but there are fish-in cycles which have been successful for many years. There are also ways to add fish near instantly (e.g. mature media borrowed from another aquarium, low-fish stock and water changes, etc) so I think this needs to be expanded to cover.

Thanks a lot for your honest advice. I'll definitely work on that.
When I say "Indestructible fish" just wanted to add a joke to make it interesting 🙂
I will prepare separate videos for the Nitrogen Cycle. I will progress the videos more in the form of pill information. Because they explain even the simplest things for 30-40 minutes and this really bothers me. thank you again

Not a problem, and I really do wish you well! Sounds like a great venture.

Don't be frightened to come back here and bounce ideas. Lots of really great people on this forum, with lots of deep knowledge.
