Hi everyone, I'm looking to try something new. Never really tried to keep a well planet aquarium. Have kept a reef tank for the last 4 years. But have sadly had to give it up due to work commitments. But looking to create a low maintenance planted aquarium. Looks like a lot to learn again. The tank I have gone with is a aquanano 60 it holds around 100l with caribsea eco-complete substrate.343561169d93dc10fee3e25a26048507.jpg

Welcome to UKAPS Sid, plenty of good information on low tech on here including the tutorial The Soil Substrate by OP which also discusses the option to go high tech should you want

Welcome to the forum mate. You've made the right choice going low tech to start with. Save the problems for later 😉

Lovely scape ☺ Greenfinger2 recommended shaping Brough end's of wood with a deemed tool/Stanley knife (my attempts weren't great) but it may help yourself ?!
