I am setting up a low tech tank
I won't be introducing fish for a while.
I wanted to know if it is still necessary to
carry out multiple water changes a week
just with having plants in tank.
Carrying out lots of water changes at the start of a tanks life is still recommended to remove excess nutrients that may be release e.g. from aquasoil this in turn minimises the chance of algae at this time whilst the tank is settling in.
