Hi, just joined forum yesterday. I have been keeping an aquarium since August 2020 and added a second smaller tank a few weeks ago.
Main tank is a Fluval 125l Roma. Filter is the U3 which came with the tank and I swapped the light for a Nicrew Planted LED which I run on the 24 hr cycle.
I have been making up the aquascape as I go without any CO2 or ferts and to be honest not 100% sure what I am doing hence joining the forum.
Plants are a wide mix including
Limnophylum Heterophyla,
Microsorum Pteropus
Lagenandra Meeboldii Red
Taxyphyllum Barbieri
Echinodorus
Vallisneria
Alternanthera Reineckii Red
Anubias Nana

Second tank was really bought for somewhere to grow up some young Mollies and is a Fluval Flex 34l. It's running on the equipment that came with it and plants are some which have been taken from main tank and also includes
Anubias
Bacopa Compacta
Lilaeopsis Brasiliensis
Heteranthera Zosterfolia
Again no CO2 or ferts yet - that is something I need to learn more about

Any comments/suggestions welcome to so I can try and improve.

Very minimum for success you will need to have fertiliser in some form. Root tabs at a minimum. Aquarium soil and liquid fertiliser recommend. I use tropica for both. My non co2 tank flex 57l gets 2ml a day of fertiliser or I find I see signs of the plants struggling. Your plants are definitely showing signs of nutrient deficiency. Enjoy the forum lots of helpful people can answer pretty much anything

Thanks for the advice Kevin, much appreciated. A couple of daft laddie questions if I can. Is the Tropica fertiliser you use the "orange" or the "green" one. Also how often do you add tablets and how many do you generally use at a time? Thanks

I currently use the green specialised as I have two high energy co2 tanks and bought a big 5l bottle. I use this on the low energy as well just as I don't want to buy more premium orange. Tabs last about 6 months. I normally spread mine on setup by breaking them up but adding them to a already setup tank just spread them evenly and put them by the roots of big plants

Welcome! Yes to tabs and ferts at the same time. How often you add tabs depends on the brand, I add tabs quarterly.

Hi - thought I would post follow up images of both my tanks one month after I started using ferts as recommended. I think there has been an improvement.

Some six months on, and slightly for my own benefit too, I have attached a couple of photos from each of the tanks. I've had a few losses along the way, which I guess is to be expected. I've moved to recently planting some hairgrass to the front of both.
