Hi Everyone, I've been in hobby for 32 years now, i had my first tank at the age of 10 , However this my first actual aquascape. i have a 155ltr hightech system 5 weeks old.
I come for dark side lol (Marine). I wanted to pluck the courage to finally give this a go, I had always been afraid of failing with a true aquascape so avoided it like the plague.
so after reading George's book cover to cover and watching lots of GA videos. Here it is.
The tank was a spare I had which I used to use as my quarantine tank, but as I got a new smaller one for that I decided to use it for this, hence the scratches lol. seems a shame to waste it lol. system is as follows ....
tank 155ltr cube.
Oase Biomaster 600 thermo with seachem matrix.
Co2 injection with Aquamedic 1000 reactor.
Eheim 350 skim.
Tropica Aquasoil. 16kg
All bogwood hardscape. Jungle theme. ish lol.
Chihiros WRGB pro 2 lighting. 8hrs PD
Red Sea reef dosing system.
EI method 40ml Micro/Macro alternative days.
PH 5.7 -6.3
Temp 23⁰c
6 stage RO unit with silicate removal, I use this for my marine tanks anyway.
50% Water change per week.
Amarno shrimp
Crystal shrimp
Otto's.
Siamesse flying fox.
nirite snails
Argentinian blood fins
