Hi, I’m returning to the hobby after a 15 year hiatus, having reignited my passion for nature aquariums when helping my son set up a ‘low tech’ planted tank.
I‘m keen to learn, especially considering the significant developments in hobby since I last dabbled! Unfortunately my previous plant guru (Alison’s Aquarium in Caergwrle N.Wales if anyone remembers them) emigrated some years ago, so hoping this forum can bring me up to speed and enhance my learning.
Still very much in the planning/budgeting phase but hopefully my next tank will be a high tech nano using a Dennerle 35lts scape, the curved corners really appeal. Lots of decision to make regarding filter, lights and co2 system. Any advice on choices will be gratefully received!

The dennerle tanks are very nice, I have the slightly larger one, the curved corners are nice. Good luck setting it up, and be sure to share your results 😀

Thank you, will do.
Just filter, lights and co2 to decide upon now, however in no immediate rush and the thrill of the chase when choosing new tech is part of the fun!

Hi Mike, firstly welcome to the forum it’s a great site for all the information you’ll ever need. If you get the chance nip down to Rhyl aquaria in Rhyl and speak to the owner Gareth, his knowledge of keeping fish and the lastest equipment is second to none😁 Hope this helps in any way👍🏻
 
Great tank choice, I have two 55l and a 30l cube. The curved corners are beautiful! Enjoy.
