At the moment i have two Aqua gro 600 Ultima lights on my 60cm x 30 x 45 tank, But i thinking on a upgrade as i am planing on doing a new scape in the tank,
I am planing on upgrading to either the Aquagro 1500 colourplus or the kessil 360 tuna sun.

What do you think would be best?

I am literally stuck what to go for!

I'd use a Kessil A160, the 360 will be ALOT of light - is 45 the height or width of the tank?

BUT if you intend the sort of high octane tank where the scape flora will be completely "grown in" in a few weeks, then you'd likely do fine with the A360

alto - 45cm is the tanks width.

I am still undecided completely as to what type of layout i aim for just yet but possibly mainly carpet working to higher plants at the one end maybe

WIth only a 30cm deep tank, I'd not invest in the A360 (unless you get it on super deal) as you won't ever need to run much intensity on it ...

I have 2 A160's on a 90cm x 45cm x 52H cm tank & have never run above 50% intensity (I want my fish alive rather than just CO2-blissed-out-plants 😉)

Thanks alto!
I personally like the kessils alot!
Wow if i go for a kessil i think one A160 would defo be enough for me then lol
Do you have your A160's on goosenecks or do you have them suspended?

Goosenecks (I got them on half price - not sure I'd've paid the full price as they are not really matching the modern styling of the actual pendants), if you can conveniently suspend, go that route as it's much more elegant & allows more adjustability on lamp height... OTOH no one has seen the tank for the first time & commented on the goosenecks so perhaps they are not so offensive after all
- I've trained my eye so I barely notice them now 😉

You can manually adjust the spectrum & intensity but fine/complex control (programming) requires the controller & cable
