Myosotis question

Hi, not sure if this is ok here or should be in ponds but simply are Myosotis scorpionoides and M paulustris the same. I see paulustris sold all the time for ponds and was wondering if this was correct (ie can it cope with the margins of a pond, or is in fact scorpionoides different and the one which is better for ponds. The reason I ask is I have loads of paulustris scattered over the garden and don't want to have to buy the same thing twice.
