Poor old thing was suffering with some sort of tumour and spending most of his time lying on his side on the substrate. I took what seemed like the best course of action and euthanized with clove oil. Hate doing it and feeling quite glum now🙁

Sorry you have had such an unhappy task.
Euthanasia is always difficult even when, as in your case, it's the kindest option.
Your actions were carried out with care & compassion for the fishes welfare so try not to feel too bad. 😢
