Moss pruning

Hi,

Any tips on pruning moss to stop it going all over the tank. I appreciate i could remove the wood it is attached to but don't really want to disturb everything.

George farmer has a video about that on Utube.He has air line attached with elastic to his scissors to hose the bits out.
