For a Corydoras aquarium. Any suggestions? I wouldn't want anything too bright or large to detract from the Corys.

Still at planning stage but tank will probably be around 80 x 45 x 45. Black Phantoms sound good, thanks.
Not seen any locally but Black Neons could be an option as well.

If you are in Surrey a visit to Living Waters in Beddington will be a great place to visit for inspiration as well as the choice of fish. Darren is excellent at advice and has massive knowledge on everything fish/plant related.

Espei rasbora - tight shoalers.
Forktail rainbows - not shoalers
green neon rasbora - not realy shoalers.
ember tetra - not shoalers.
......

What about dwarf cories or other species that spend a lot of time mid-water swimming like elegans.
