Microsorum Trident and Narrow

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about using a lot of trident and narrow in a rescape but before I do, I wanted to know what the likelihood of success could be?

I'm not expecting miracles but I've got hard water and low energy. Could it work out or am I just burning money?

I use Trident JF heavily as tall ground cover and regular JF as bush on the left side of in my 125 planted tank. My water has pH 7.6, kH 4 and gH 8, so it is mildly hard water. I superglued JF to larva rock which root tightly on the rough surface over time.

Looks good! How long did that take you to grow in?

It takes about a month for the roots to develop good grasp on the rock. Superglue provides temporary hold while the roots are expanding, faster and tighter if you choose rough texture surfaces.
