Anyone ever tried it above a tank? it's not so fuzzy about air humidity. but since it's a thick leaf, i don't know if it would like wet feet. 🙂

Thanks GF, that's actualy what they write about every (living room) fern. And some still do realy good with wet feet anyway, after some time to addapt. Like the Microsorum London Dragon is keeping in his hangon filter, does stunningly great. Now i know that thin leaf ferns are more tolerant to water than the tick leaf. I was wondering if anybody ever tried to put this Microsorum above a tank in a simular fasion whith the rizome above the waterline. I'm already staring at those hangon filters for some time, but wasn't realy sure what i want to put in there. Now i know it must be a fern and ordered me such a small filter to play with.

Have my doubts about this fern, it would be a €18 experiment to try it out. So i thought ask if somebody already knows if the investment is worth a try. 🙂

Now who doesn't want a crocodile in his tank!?..

Allready found a lead in the right direction.. 🙂 Was thinking if its known to do well in Hydro-culture we might have a go.

And it's in the list as suitable. http://www.hydro-culture.net/plants.html funny enough it's the only Microsorum listed..

Give it a go...if anyone can get it to grow in hydro-culture I'm sure it'll be you...🙂
