Marsilea problem

Hi all, my Marsilea Hirsuta which has only been planted in a small low tec aqua one nano has gone a bit brown. Is this ok and will it pick up or is it a lost cause? I planted it in Tmc nutrasoil and it's got a good flow going round at the moment. The light is the standard 9w that come with the tank and is on for only 5 hours at the moment. I give the tank 2.5ml of Tropica specialised each week with a 80% water change. It's my first attempt at growing it and any advice would be good.

Could you post a picture?
The clover shaped leaves will go brown and die and be replaced by smaller sumersed leaves.

That's good to know. I would've put a picture on but wasn't sure how.

I think you should give it more time. Not using CO2 means slower growth and so the Marsilea will take a bit longer to acclimatize. You should see some new stems emerge eventually.

Thanks. I knew it would be slow, I was just worried most of it turned brown. Good to know there isn't a problem.

If its less than 2-3 weeks old I wouldnt worry 🙂
