How often do you clean your aquarium....
Any one use Uv & airpumps @ night.
I have noticed a big difference when air-pump timed to come on during night for the last week, after co2 on. New Uv all ready to be plumbed in tomorrow, along with a filter pad change on big filter only, as my other 350 eheim filter is purely for extra flow & have never had any algae since I re planted this tank 5 weeks ago. My ammonia is 0, ph 6.5-7, nitrates 0 & I pre filter all intakes & use my old blue & white Eheim filter pads in bottom 2 trays, along with new in upper. Nothing affects the flow as I chucked the poor plastic bio media by eheim & replaced with their ceramics in bottom tray & use a skimmer in each corner also. I hear lots about Eheim being poor, but I can say all my stuff is Eheim, Co2 art, Ada & apart from the tank which is a Ciaro & has been faultless for 5 years now. I replanted this tank 5 weeks ago, had all same equipment, apart from changing my knackered lights for original ones & making my own clear intakes( I will re do these as was a test), blacked out rear & far side of tank etc,
