Has anyone any long term usage opinions on this eBay dry fert?

I've recently rebuilt my planted tank which is now full of mainly easy care plants. Its 155l Fluval Osaka with stock T5HO lamps 24w each. Bulbs are new.

I suffered an issue with BBA in my old tank while using standard dosing of Easycarbo and only 2ml of Lush Max per day. Then some days I didn't dose etc etc and hence the outbreak.

I'm now in a routine of 6ml of Easycarbo per day. 5ml of Lush Max and the plants are seemingly doing great within only a few days apart from my Monte Carlo which has 50% melted. Looking into this, it's likely to comeback as it acclimatises to the tank.

Lights are timed to 7 hours per day and filtration is 1400lt per hour. I also use a wavemaker and have zero deadspots.

I just want to know if I'm in the correct ballpark.

Also, is it wise to dose liquid and gas carbon? Gas is something I've thought about adding.

Thanks

No experience with Lush Max, however I do dose co2 and liquid carbon. Some say that co2 is better than LC because it's not as difficult for the plants to obtain the carbon needed from the gas as the LC. I guess that would be to do with the chemical process involved in the plant converting the chemical into the carbon, someone else would be better explaining that one though. Having said that I have seen many excellent scapes in these forums using LC only however some say that certain species of plants don't get on with LC (mixed opinions)

I use LC more as a mild algaecide than as a main source of carbon for my plants hence running the two parallel and also for spot dosing before it can become a nuisance. On the occasions when I've stopped dosing LC I didn't notice any major difference to the plants overall more that I seemed to have to clean my glass more often. I clean the glass about once per month as it stands but with no LC I would do that weekly as a green film would quickly develop.

It's also handy when trying to get your gas injection right, sort of buffers any little problems a bit as well as not giving the algae an ideal situation to be thriving in while you are dialling in the co2. If you're new to gas I would also keep dosing the LC until you think it's going ok then withdraw the LC slowly if you feel the need.
