Hi,
I'm so new to planted tanks & to be honest - my tanks look pretty dire - I really feel like I'm winging it!
But...aquatic plants are awesome!!! My hygrophila difformis (water wisteria) has new growth that is like a completely different - it's like a new plant all together! I have echinodorus vesuvius in my big tank & it didn't have much 'curls' to begin with but it's just exploded & there are runners everywhere. I'd a nymphoides aquatica with the banana like tubes abandoned attached the front as unsure of placement but moved to a floater as didn't want it establish roots in the substrate - & it's really benefited from the extra light - one of the leaves has turned a deep pink.
I find aquatic plants facinating & want to grow everything (preferably not all at once!)
