Low tech stems

Hi all,
I'm looking for options for low tech stem plants to go in my fluval flex 34 litre, low tech with no C02 injection.
Fairly hard water 💧
It's been running for a few months now with Limnophilia sessiflora and this has done a fantastic job for a new tank but it's starting to take over.
As you can see in the pic the Limnophilia has taken over most of the rear section amd I'm trimming weekly.
I want something that will tolerate fairly low light and grow quickly however not quite as quickly as the Limnophilia.

That could also bee an option, are there any varieties that don't grow too tall??

Vallisneria spiralis 'Torta', grows to about 20cm.

Bacopa monnieri will grow in hard water. It's fairly slow growing so it won't run rampant like the limnophila.
