Hello, I have a lido 120 tank with default old t5 light, i think the PAR is low because bacopa caroliana is still green near the top of the tank. That tank only have RCS, i don't put any food in. I always did a 50% water change every week but with my new job, i need to change the water change shecdule, will algae thrive if i make a 50% WC every 3-4 weeks ? thx

I use RO water, canister filter is strong for that tank, tetra ex 1200 plus

The only way you will know is going to be to try it and see.
Many people get away with monthly water changes, if you notice issues you can always change it again, or do smaller changes more often if that's easier.

Low tech shrimp only tank, is it out of the question to change 10% per week, it should only take 10 minutes?
Yes i could but it's high tech tank since i use CO2, lean dosing might help but is 10% enough in that condition ?

The light is low, PAR is below 40
