Good evening, gentleman!

Could someone please help me to find the right dosing method for my nano tank? What values should I strive for?
Its a 25 litre tank with Neocaridina, almost 70-80% of the ground is planted (Pogostemon, Rotala, Alternanthera reineckii, Anubias, Cryptocoryne and Glossostigma). It has CO2 and a Chihiros C301 (60 lumens per litre).
Because i use RO water GH is 3 and KH 1,5-2.
So can someone recommend a good dosing method for my little tank?

Merry Christmas from Germany!

Tnc complete at 3 x dosage if your tank is heavily planted, 3 x dosage is equillent to EI dosage levels.

So i should use the EI method? Not lean dosing? I want to use the fertilizers I have first.

The plants you have listed appear to be easy plants (i.e. I assume the Rotalas are not a sensitive sp like Macandra Mini), in which case they will be ok with either lean or EI.

As you tank is only 25 litres, I guess you want to slow down the plant growth by dosing less, as many of those plants can get big fast (AR might actually be too big for a 25 litre).

Some images of your tank and set up would be helpful. Personally, I'd be trying to make life as simple as possible. At least start off with EI, and see how you go. You can tailor EI to your needs and reduce the dosage later once you're confident your plants are healthy.

Aqua-Rebell Makro Basic Nitrat, Aqua-Rebell Makro Basic Phosphat and Easy Life Ferro

Looking at the AR website, if you follow their dosing instruction, you’d add a max of 7ppm per week. This is insufficient. You should aim to achieve about 30ppm per week on EI, so you could easily quadruple the dose.

As for Iron, following their instructions give you about 0.7ppm per week, which is OK.

Aqua rebell is a good brand, use according to recommendation and you will be fine. 7ppm K is sufficient. Some of the best growers use this fert.

that is about 6.6 US gallon. do you have a picture of your tank? for a such small tank i would recommend using Tropica or something similar, you can also do DIY if you want to, it depends on what you like to do. for such a small tank and small plant mass, lean dosing would be better option.

My point being that the recommended AR dose only provides 7ppm of N per week (and 4.2ppm of K weekly) which is significantly lower than suggested EI dose.
I believe you meant 7 ppm N is actually 7 ppm NO3. 7 ppm NO3 and 4.2 ppm K is more than sufficient for such as small tank where plant mass is low.

Indeed, I did mean NO3, and not N. My error.

Several people in the thread have suggested EI levels. My comment was in relation to that. Using AR as recommended doesn‘t approach EI levels. If, of course, the OP does want to go lean, then dosing as recommended may well be the way to go.
