This is my first pressurised co2 use. I have a flex 15g and running at about one bubble every 2 seconds on a sov 1 hour before lights on and off. Drop checker contains 20ppm liquid, I'm aiming for 20-25ppm.

As per the pictures the bubbles don't seem to absorb very well. The drop checker is green but is always the same, I can't get lime green and the drop checker stays green all day until the co2 comes on again, will go blue if removed from tank. I did a 50% plus water change today (6am) and it was still green when co2 came on (3pm), surely the water change should of reduced absorbed co2?

I just feel like I'm missing something here.

Thanks

i have set up a co2 system for the first time 100 litre tank still trying to work out if i have the right co2 my co2 goes off at 7pm when i get up at 5am the drop checker is blue i have a power head for surface agitation and a sponge filter... so i read surface agitation will gas off the co2 quicker so maybe this is why?
