looking for a new shrimp tank

Hi guys,

Just looking to start up a planted shrimp tank. I have seen the Fluval Edge and Spec tanks.
Are there any better ones to look for than those two.
I also have a 500l marine setup, with sump. I detest seeing equipment in the display area, which is why I like the Fluvals.
I'm looking to just keep the neo's to start with, but maybe once gained experience with them, move onto the Caridinas.
Obviously, from a marine background, I'm well used to keeping water as my pet, and the stuff swimming round is just a bonus!

Cheers

Have a look at the Aquaone cubes. I have a 30L and 40L that have sumps in the back for equipment, really nice all in one solutions.

I had a fluval edge before and it was nice but the opening is way to small not enough to put my hand in to clean the glass. What i have now is the aqua nano 40 55litre and aqua nano 30 20litre. Both comes with built in filter and led and a open top which lets you scape your tank freely. Have a look at my journal.

cheers

Thanks, never thought about looking at Aquaone's website, my marine in an Aquaone, so I should have known better!
I did think access could be poor with the Edge, that's why the newer Spec looked a better option, but it's only 19l.
I'll have a look at prices for the Aquaone.

Cheers

Think I'll probably be getting the 55, currently showing as £120 on p@h website
Trying to read up and get as much info as possible as to which substrate, the bacterial to use first etc. some good YouTube videos I've seen about setup. This will be shrimp only.
I have a full 5 stage rodi system already for the marine setup, so I'll also need to re-mineralise that for shrimp.
Seen a good video by Oliver Knott, showing some plant packs, aqua flora I think, can we get those in the UK. Don't think I've seen anything like them in any stores near me, although I usually walk straight past the tropical stuff to the world where the word marine magically doubles the price of everything!

Well, best laid plans and all that, went to buy an Aquanano 40, and ended up ordering a 60 instead. Convinced myself I'll get a much better scape in the bigger tank!
The planted journey begins.

You can find them online for £159.99, I got my local fish shop to price match that.
Saw the 130 at p@h, exclusive to them apparently, but just too big for space I have.
