Just sharing my limnophila sessiliflora, havent trim it for 10-12 days and it is already 90cm!!! This plant grows like weed

Right. Here in Minnesota its a prohibited invasive species that may not be sold, purchased or possessed.

Yeah, each state has it's own rules and lists that may be stricter than the federal ones. State enforcement is all over the place too. Here in NC you wouldn't know a lot of stuff is listed in the state because you can just buy it without issue. Other states don't play around like that.

And if course there's tons of stuff that is clearly invasive that is not listed at all, and stuff that is not invasive now, but might be later due to climate change. The concepts of "invasive" and "native" are very complex and best practice is that everyone in the hobby needs to keep their plants and livestock in their tanks and out of their local waterways, period.
