I’ve not had an Aquarium for some years now but I’ve recently been thinking it would be nice to have a small 10L Nanocube with a few plants and some moss balls in it. I was hoping to just do water changes rather than running a filter. The problem is I live in a hard water area (Dorset) and one of the things that really annoyed me the last time I had an Aquarium was the inevitable build up of limescale on the glass and other equipment. Is there any way to avoid this. Would RO water solve the problem and can you still buy it in shops? If it may be of help how much is it per litre these days? TIA.

RO or distilled water would solve the problem and yes you can still buy both it in the shops, supermarkets and LFS usually sell either. You might also want to consider installing a water butt. Rainwater will also solve the problem.
