Lilly Pipe Sets, What do you use?

Hi all, I have a superfish scaper 60 tank and I'm using some 12mm FZONE glassware (inlet and outlet with skimmer). To use these I've had to reduce the filter pipe work down to 12mm from 16mm with some reducers. I wanted to change my pipework over to the ADA style grey flexible pipe as I'm fed up with clanking the glassware against the tank every time I try to move the filter or do any maintenance. My problem is the grey flexible pipe does not hold very well on the reducer as it's a kind of nipple style so I'd be worried about the pipe popping off and draining the tank.

I've been looking at various alternative sets out there but really don't know what to get. I kind of like the look of the Aquarrio Premium Neo Flow V2. Main concern is it needs to be small enough to fit in the small tank. What are you using and what do you recommend?

TIA

I use stainless steel pipes on my Nano’s.
The 37L has 12mm pipes with standard Eheim 12/16mm hose.
The 60L has 16mm pipes with Grey 16/22mm Silicone hose. I don’t believe it’s really required but I’ve used cable ties on the Silicone hose for added safety.

Yeah I was considering cable ties too. I like the idea that the pipe is flexible but it worries me it will pop off too easily with some pressure. Out of interest which stainless steel pipes do you use?
