HI Troi,
I knew the article for quite a long ago. My qyuestion was precisely to make others think about the article.
Not taking it as a bible. The article is only a guideline.
From there, from those statistics each of us will find it´s own personal set.
Regard that in anytime Tropica mention about photoperiod time.
Even for plants regard that you may find hard to deal with a so classified "easy" one catalog plant in Tropica and backwards.
And why? They can´t measure all chemistry water around the world so what they basically made is a guideline. When they say that some plant is a easy one it´s their own experience in accordance to their plantation parameters.
For instance their culture is all made in 25 degrees. If you put 29 degrees in your tank thats almost for shure that some of those so called "easy" may probably be hard to you or backwards. And this is just a single example.
Now think about the water chemistry and all tank parameters such as the Holy Grail named Co2..
Another example:
Hemianthus micranthemoides is classified as "advanced". Here in Portugal everybody has this plant and it grows like nuts in all low and high tech siystems. So? Advanced? Only For Tropica. Not for us.
A big hug
