Hello,
I have a 170 L cube (55cm),
Currently I have a interpet led triple
http://www.interpet.co.uk/Products/Lighting/LEDs/LED-Bright-White-47cm-Lighting-System-Triple
I am thinking about upgrading to the interpet tri spec
http://www.interpet.co.uk/Products/Lighting/LEDs/Tri-Spec-High-Output-LED-52-60cm
Main reason I am thinking of this light uni is because of the use of the hood flap system.
7.2 watt to 22 watts, I’m even tempted to use both units together but I don’t want to over go on the lights but I am worried the 7.2 will struggle esp as it’s a deep tank.
I realise if I go with the upgrade I will have to trim the hood a little or buy new Perspex for the hood as it’s a litttle wider.
I have a dwarf hair grass Carpet growing with the dry start, rocks with java moss, bucca Carolina and a couple of other plants. I will also be using a little co2.
What are your thoughts.
