Hi all, can I get some recommendations for LED lighting for a tank size of 75 x 45 x 45 cm tank, Would the fluval 2 led be enough, or is there some thing better. I'm new to aqua scaping after 10 years of keeping marines,
I'd value some opinions before buying a light.

Plenty of light and adjustable (PAR and kelvin, you can mix two channels to get the view you like) Very nice spectrum.

Or the aquatlantis easy led 742 dimmable with a TC420 controller I have this one on my 80x40x40 tank. Got this one second hand pretty cheap

Or a Chihiros RGB pretty cheap, dimmable but pretty cool in terms of kelvin.

Not sure if accurate but some PAR data of this one.
10cm 184PAR, 20cm 89PAR, 30cm 52PAR

All RGB leds great for plant growth.

Hi Nigel thank for the information on the light, you tank looks . Did you sort the problem out with you monte carlo melting, was it a light issue, being a little high? With the aquatlantis can you adjust the brightness or is it just the time you can adjust?

My light was really high so could be a problem of it but also it could be just the transiton from emersed to submerged (or both). With the new controllers of aquatlantis you can adjust the brightness and time but I use a TC420 controller for that because it was cheaper.

I have the same tank dimensions with an ADA 75p, I use a single Kessil 180, which doesn't quite get full coverage but does the job well enough.
