Leaves in my hair grass

Hi,

Please see the picture, I've got some hair grass which I planted about a month ago, I've got what looks like normal hair grass mixed in with what looks like hair grass with leaves on it...

Is this just how they grow or has something mixed in with it?.

I forget the specific name but it was the variety that grows taller than the other one!

The majority of my shorter dhg were tropica tissue plants and none of them have this..

You have a moss contamination of your hairgrass. I really can't give you a defenite ID, but mosses growing this way are usually called "stringy moss" in the hobby. They are quite nice mosses, usually not growing very dense, but spreading (often rapidly!) in a more open form. If they get too invasive, you can easily pull out the parts growing in unwanted places.
