Ok thanks - I got some Plant GRO iron enriched fert with a CO2 system today (contains nitrogen, chelated iron, chelated and soluble manganese, chelated zinc, chelated copper and chelated molybdate. Also wondering if root tabs are any good

It's ok for slower growing set ups that aren't too demanding of nutrients.
It only contains potassium and iron, so in more demanding set ups i.e. with higher light and CO2, you may experience deficiencies.
Root tabs are useful for root demanding plants like crypts, esp in inert substrate, like gravel or sand. In nutrient rich substrates there aren't really necessary.
