Hi all, were getting a bit of an influx of bot spam posters at the moment. If you see any posts like this, flag it for moderation and the mods team will clear it out! There's quite a few at the moment and I'm hoping I've got the latest batch this morning, but if there are any stragglers I've missed, give us a shout and I'll clear it 🙂

Whilst I hate Spam, and generally agree that Forum security needs to be tight, may I point out that some forums ( Fish Keeping, Railway Modelling, Target shooting examples I know of) the security is so damn complicated that thick oldies like me cannot manage to complete the membership applications. So please guys if you upgrade security please consider dinosaurs like me 🙂 Merci, Gracias, Danke, Cheers.
 
We're normally alright with the spam, it's just the last couple days it's been quite intense. Luckily we usually catch them pretty quick! Of course @Bill the fish, nothing too complex 😉
 
Trouble is these lowlifes are everywhere, just give a warning to be careful of instagam ads. I saw a garden shed at £89 special offer from £599, click straight away at offer had 1 minute to go. The website fake but looked genuine, l tried to report to the retail company as usual no options on the phone unless your making a purchase!!
 
They are a pain for sure.

There are ways to tighten the spam/bot security by routing through security networks. Might be worth looking at, and it can be done very affordably - or even free.
 
I've sent one Temu Spammer a direct message.....explaining it's a waste of their time and mines....as they will be banned after their postings!
 
I've done a Template for the next round of 3am Spammers!
Hopefully, when I send them a DM, they will take heed and stop their nonsense!
