What else can go wrong?!

First, I get a dodgy bubble counter that leaks.
I then rush in to setting stuff up and manage to gas my fish.
Now when fitting my Hydor I've managed to break the nipple off my Up inline diffuser!

Not a good week all in all 🙁

unlucky man. i think CO2art have an adapter that can easily be fitted over the up atomiser nipple if i remember rightly. check their sponsor forum for a post on the product.

Lol, thanks! More bad luck though, I thought I'd been heavy handed and just ordered a new one tonight!

I've seen a post from them offering free adapters though. I'll call them in the morning and try to cancel my order and get the free part instead!

common fault with the new up diffuser, best to cut the tubing off with a stanly knife. CO2 were offering the adapts for free if the nipples were broke off. Don't know if they still are.

Just spoke to CO2Art and they are going to send me an older style diffuser as a replacement. Apparently the older style did not have the problems.

I'd give them a call and ask.

Yeah I switched to the old style when a pin hole leak appeared in the casing of mine. It's more robust, just slightly harder to clean, but less parts/seals less that can go wrong.
