What is the best way of trimming this stuff? Is it right down at the base where the shoots form?

Dave.

If memory serves, it's a little like blyxa (I had some a few years back). You can strip the leaves back at the stem like with blyxa, but also trim the nodes where they've split into multiple stems and re-plant I think.

Someone might want to confirm that before you start hacking away though Dave

I`m fairly sure it can`t be cut back like a stem plant. Mine isn`t ready for cutting yet, so let me know how you get on.

Dave.

Hi Dave,
i trimmed it like a stem once and it just melted and never grew back,
regards john.
