Hi all,

I hope everyone is well.

Finally I'm in position to replace my temporary Eheim CompactON 600 powerhead as it started occasionally producing rattling sound and I didn't like it's shape, size or color either.

I really like AI Nero 3 look and feel except the price tag. So I was looking for something very similar and found Jebao Wave SLW-10 third of the AI Nero 3 price.

I have tried before Jebao SW-2 in mine previous tank and I didn't like the noise it was producing and I did returned it immediately.

Have anyone tried this particular SLW-10 model and would you recommend it or definitely stay away of it? How noisy it is?

I'd really appreciate if you could share your experience 🙂

Thanks
Dan

I’ve had the SLW-10 and the SLW -30 they’re extremely quiet.

My mate who uses the Nero and Ecotech MP10 couldn’t believe how silent the SLW 10 is.

I used them on reef tanks, but that doesn’t change anything.

I couldn’t recommend them enough mate.

That’s great news. Thanks a lot 👍

I’ve experienced that with a SLW 30 it settled down after a couple weeks and was dead silent from there.

It’s not something I experienced with the 10’s which were silent from the off.
Perhaps the quality is not so consistent? It's otherwise a great little pump at an affordable price.
