I personally prefer moss for breeding it tends to look a bit messy to me and your tank has a nice look as is.
All you can do is try it if you like great and if not its all part of the fun .
If I was going to put any moss there that would be a fissiden fontanus. It looks a lot better, grow slow and it does not have messy appearence also it doesn't attach itself onto everything in the tank. That's only my personal opinion.
