Issues with Trace Mix and Inverts.

Hi,

I've been having issues with shrimp death in my main tank and in another tank that i helped setup and do dosing schedules for.

I've got my suspicions that it could be the trace mix. I'm using the recommended dose of AE new trace mix.

Am I barking up the wrong tree? Anyone else having issues with this product at the listed amounts?

edit - this is with EI dosing, 50% water change each week.

I have been using AE trace since 2007 and never had any issues at EI doses

Likewise, what about the plants? also how long have you had your current shrimps?

fully planted. EI for 3 years, some of the shrimp where easily that old. others younger. the other tank they were all new ish.

i've been using AE trace since the start of EI. I bought the new AE trace and mixed it as per instructions. now i can't seem to keep shrimp alive.

i've saved one old timer and have him in a 20L which i use TPN+ and easycarbo on. He's fine. Everyone else is now dead
