Hi All,
One of my Crypts flowering regularly but it doesn't look like the google search results
Can anybody tell me what species of Crypt it is...
as you can see from the pics, there are two flowers, one is too heavy and keep falling back into the tank despite my efforts, the older one has a seed also

Can we see photos of the plant? I'm a newbie at this but that looks a lot like one of my aponogeton's flowers.

It is defenitely Aponogeton - and defenitely NOT a Cryptocoryne (which is why it does not resemble, what you find of Crypt.-flowers in your search).
It is actually very common, that the Aponogeton's multiply in this way.
The seed will break off at some point - maybe flow for some time - and then sink to bottom - grow roots and leaves and start a new plant.
My Apon. robinsonii is extreeme in spreading this way (but this species have a two-stemmed, white, heavily scented flower) and many of the Apon. crispus types willingly spread like this, too.
- with a little patience, you can soon have a new plant from your Aponogeton.......

One of mine flowers like this every other week, but it's hardly throwing up any leaves. I'm worried it will weaken and die. The A Crispus right next to it has never flowered and has lots of healthy leaves.
