Hello friends.

Can DIY hormone fertilizer be made for better development of plants?

Is there a specific formula?

For example:

amino acid
beta alanine
gamma amino acid
glutamine

Or can vitamins be used?

For example:
b1
b2
b6
b12
b3
b5

Hello,
There are some companies which advertise that their fertilizers contain hormones, and that supposedly, these hormones improve aquatic plant growth. These claims are all false and they rely on the practice of using hormones to improve root growth, for example in terrestrial plants. Aquatic plants are a different kettle of fish entirely and they cannot use hormones applied to the sediment or to the water column. The only thing that happens is that the hormones break down into their constituent components and combine with other products in the water. If that happens to be ammonia or nitrate then the plants will use it. Simply adding nitrate or phosphate will accomplish the goal of better plant health at a much cheaper and more direct biological pathway.

Cheers,
