Is my nerite dead?

Hi all

I think my nerite is dead.
Hes detatchedfrom the glass an seems like hes dead.

Can anyone confirm this is death?

I will refrain from quoting Monty Python…. but I think you need to watch it for 15 mins and see if it moves .

Take it out of the tank and give it a sniff.

If it smells of nothing - it's alive (maybe just having a nice sleep). If it smells like the depths of hell then... it's not. When snails depart from this realm they leave with us a parting gift of putrid rotting flesh, there is no mistaking it.
