Iron supplement

Hi All,
I,m getting ready to start ordering plants for my new set up and one of the plants i like is red ludwigia
i read you need an iron supplement to make them red is that true and if so where can i get the supplement

I think iron is part of it but you also need decent lighting. Please correct me if I am wrong!🙂

Its been a hot topic on a few threads regarding bringing out the reds of plants, some say high lighting, others additional iron and then also low nitrates. When I had red ludwigia in ny co2 set up it stayed pretty red most of the time anyway
