Iodine?

Just reading that shrimp need iodine for molting but there seems to be disagreement as to whether there is enough in UK tap water for them.

I recall Darrel saying he either added iodine or suspected there was an iodine deficiency with some rainbows he was keeping?

Well remembered, it was in <"Kenny's Multiple Tank Syndrome">.

The original link was in the <"thread to do with thyroid tumours">, they are quite common in soft water fish and treatable with iodine.
