Inline heater for 18mm hose

I only know one make of inline heater (not to say there are not more around) and like 99% of aquarium fitments they come in 12mm or 16mm id.
How come you are using 18mm (3/4'') what is connected to the feed end?
Anyway you can just wrap a load of either self amalgamating tape or PTFE tape around the heater fitting & clamp down the 3/4 pipe if really necessary!

Well you can very easily convert to 16mm with a simple reducer!
Google up 3/4'' - 5/8'' plastic reducer....
I dont think you will find many 18mm fittings, 18mm is not a diameter I work with but 3/4 is about 18.5mm so no problem stretching the tube over the fitting.
Another option would be to fit a Y fitting & use two returns, that way you wont lose much flow...
