Indoor hydroponic floodlight upgrade ?

Hi all

Essentially I'm looking to upgrade my lighting system and something caught my eye on Amazon.

At the moment I have 2 x 50w 6500k led floodlights which to be fair give good growth and I am reasonably happy with them.

I was looking for a budget upgrade and what I do like about the indoor grow lights is the size of the lighting footprint.

Indoor grow light

Could any members advise if this would indeed be an upgrade or would it be pretty much the same as my 6500k floodlights ?

Couple of quick comments.
50 watts out of 169 LEDs.
Probably overall warm tone.
consists of warm white, white, red and IR light (3000K, 5000K, 660nm, 730nm)
No breakdown of #/nm
No spectrum chart.
No listing of led beam angle.
Lists as non- dimmable.

Now you don't describe nor list dimensions ect of what you are lighting.

About the only thing one can say is the color difference between that light and 6500k lights will be noticeable. 🙂
 
Having looked it up on Amazon it is described as 2026 lumens, which is not actually very bright at all for 50 watts of energy.

With heavy 660nm-ish red, warm white and ir leds lumen measurements are misleading.
Would really need ppfd (par) measurements.
The dashed line is the lumen measurement curve.
Note the dropoff in red and blue
