If I buy from buceplant while in the US, can I bring them back to the UK?

It says I can’t bring rhizome plants back from the US but it’s only really talking about outdoor plants that I’d be putting in the garden. Nothing about sterile tissue cultured anubias for a home aquarium.

does anyone know the answer to this?

My understanding is that you cannot without certification.

From the EU you can currently being in 5 plants. Outside the EU its prohibited without following a process.

To bring them in you need a Phytosanitary certificate and pre-notify using the PEACH website.

People do break the rules but IMO the rules are there to protect our fauna and really should be respected. It's not just the issue of breaking the law.

I am just back from Australia where they have much more stringent and appropriate rules with clear enforcement and huge penalties.
